Questions
What people ask before they call
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Once the leaves are down in fall, and again in spring if there are trees over the roof. Check after a big wind.
Can you tell me if I need new gutters from a photo?
Often, yes. Send photos of the seams, the corners and the downspout foot along with your five answers.
What does a leaf guard do?
It keeps most leaves out and lets water in. Small debris still gets through, and guards need an occasional brush-off.
Is vinyl a bad choice?
Not for a small shed. On a house in a cold climate it can crack, and the seams give water a place to leak.
Do you work on metal roofs?
Yes, for repair and replacement. Gutters on a metal roof usually want snow guards above them so the slide doesn't tear them off.
What causes ice dams?
Heat in the attic melting the snow above a cold eave. The ice dams page has the fixes.
Will you talk to my insurance company?
You deal with your insurer. We give you an itemized estimate and photos to share, and we can meet your adjuster if you ask.
Are you a public adjuster?
No. We never act as one, and the deductible stays with you.
What if a repair isn't enough?
We'll show you the photos and say why. You decide.
Do I pay a deposit?
Deposit and payment terms are written on your estimate before you sign.
