Warranties
Two promises, and who stands behind each
Keep them apart when you compare estimates.
The maker's warranty
Covers the material against a defect. Read its terms, since many don't cover hail, wind or ice damage.
Our workmanship warranty
Covers our labor: hanging, sealing and flashing. The length and what it leaves out are written on your estimate.
Who registers it
We register the maker's warranty where there is one and hand you the papers to keep with the house.
About warranties
What does lifetime mean?
It depends on the maker. It usually means for as long as you own the house, for a manufacturing defect, and often it shrinks after the first years. Ask to read the terms before you count on it.
What warranty do I get on gutters?
The maker's on the material, if it has one, and ours on the labor. We don't state a length until you can read its terms.
Want the terms in front of you?
Ask for them with your estimate. We'll leave them in writing.
