Roof replacement
A new roof and a new roof edge, in one visit
The eave is where the roof and the gutter meet, so it's the place to do both at once.
Luc runs the roof jobs. The old shingles come off first and the deck is checked. Then comes the underlayment, drip edge and new roof, and the gutters go up last so nothing falls on them.
Asphalt shingle or standing seam metal
Tear-off and haul-away
Gutters and fascia done in the same visit

How the job runs
Day by day
- 01
Step 1: Day one: tear-off
The old roof comes off and goes into the dumpster. The deck is looked at while it's bare.
- 02
Step 2: Day one or two: the deck and the edge
Bad boards are replaced at the per-sheet price on your estimate. Drip edge and underlayment go down.
- 03
Step 3: Day two: the new roof
Shingles or metal panels go on, with new flashing at every wall, chimney and vent.
- 04
Step 4: Last: gutters and cleanup
Gutters and downspouts are hung, the yard is raked with a magnet and the crew leaves.
Replacement questions
How do I know the roof is at the end?
Curling or missing shingles, granules piling up in the gutters, stains in the attic or daylight through the boards. We'll show you photos before we say replace.
Can the roof go over the old one?
Sometimes, but we tear off and look at the deck. A new roof over a bad deck won't last.
What about the weather?
Shingles seal best when it's warm, so late spring to fall is the busy season. Metal can go on in cooler weather.
Ask for a written roof estimate
We walk the roof, look in the attic and write the price down.
